WTM and ITB – the two biggest tavel and tourism fairs
WTM – World Travel Market and ITB – Internationale Tourismus-Börse Berlin are the two biggest tourism trade fairs in the world. Everyone who matters in tourism is there, from hoteliers, tour-operators, travel agencies, car rental companies, national tourist boards, airlines, IT comanies… Here is their comparison and how they mach-up:

It’s obvious that ITB had a huge advantage over WTM, and if you have limited resources, you should be visiting ITB. Unless you have a very specialized interest in tourism, it’s actually pointless to be there for just one day as in one day you can’t even take a walk around the fair – it’s that big…
WTM is also and excellent fair and it’s a good thing that is immediately after the summer season so you still have time to arrange business for the following year.
There are a lot of other tourism fairs organized around the globe, but no fair can match to these two, so be there or be square 🙂
